7:30 am Pick-up at your accommodation and transfer to Tan Cang pier by our comfortable minivan depart to Can Gio.

After that, we depart to Can Gio Mangrove forest in a luxury speedboat. We enjoyed a light breakfast of The Pat’ a Chou cake and seasonal fruits whilst. Enjoying the fresh air and gaining an understanding of the daily life of local citizens living along the river banks.

9:15 am Arrive at Can Gio Mangrove forest.

We learn about the flora which is typical of mangrove forests and hear the story of this area from wartime. When it was almost destroyed, to the time the biosphere reserve was listed by UNESCO. After that, you continue to travel in a small wooden rowing boat through the swamps and see the mangroves up close.

Observe the Reserve Bats Lagoon of the city, and hear their unique sound coming from the tree tops.

10:15 am Arrive at the center of Vam Sat to observe the immense panorama of Vam Sat mangrove forest.

Visit the area for bird conservation during the wild birds’ nesting season (from May to October).

Visit the crocodile farm (with the Crocodylus Porosus). We are learning the process of hatching crocodiles. Join one of the most fearless activities, standing on the boat while fishing for carnivorous crocodiles.

Observe the wild monkeys (long-tailed monkeys characterized by Can Gio).

Walk along the road through the mangroves, challenging yourself with a suspension bridge crossing.

12:00 pm Have lunch at Vam Sat Restaurant and relax in a coconut tree hut. Finish Can Gio Mangrove Forest. We drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.

2:00 pm Arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City to be dropped off at your accommodation. Have a good journey!
