Our driver and tour guide welcome you to Noi Bai airport (Please provide us with your flight details). Then we transferred to the hotel. If time permits we stroll around the downtown to explore the different local ways of life. Overnight in Ha Noi.

At 8 Am we will go to Ninh Binh and visit Hoa Lu which is the ancient capital of the Đinh and Lê dynasties, dating back to the 11th century nearly 2 hours to drive. Today the remains of this ancient city are just that, remains. The buildings still standing include the royal temples of Đinh Tiên Hoàng, housing a statue of Emperor Đinh Bộ Lĩnh and his sons as well as the royal temple of the early Lê Dynasty.

More than the buildings or temples, we will find Hoa Lư to be beautiful because of the scenery surrounding the town. The ruins, these days, are too great a ruin to be memorable but it’s still worth a stroll around to imagine how the city was a millennium ago. Visit Tam Cốc- Múa Cave, we take you from Tam Cốc which has another name, Ha Long Bay on Land, to Múa Cave which is considered the “miniature Great Wall” of Vietnam with awesome scenery once you reach the peak of Múa Cave Mountain.

Arrive at Múa Cave, the most beautiful place to view in Nình Bình, where can see the city in the distance while standing in front of Tam Coc you can see the limestone mountains stretch out to the south of Vietnam.

Board the sampan boats (2 people share a boat) in Tam Coc dock to drift down the river among the villages, mountains, and lush rice fields passing through 3 caves “Hang Ca – First cave, Hang Hai -Second cave, Hang Ba – Third cave” and get a strange feeling as you pass through the caves.

At 9 pm move to the train station to depart to Lao Cai (Train number SP3 Ha Noi – Lao Cai 10 pm – 5:55am+). Sleeping in a train.

At 5:55 am, upon arrival, our tour guide & driver welcome you at the train station and move to a local restaurant for breakfast before we go to O Quy Ho pass. On the way, you can admire the majestic and immense scenery of the Northwest mountains. O Quy Ho -when it comes to the four greatest peaks of the mountain pass in Vietnam. Yes for sure every backpacker knows the O Quy Ho Pass, the famous and undesirable pass with the exciting stages of Zic Zac Road.

Visit and take photos at the famous Silver Waterfall of Sapa. We stopped to take pictures with “Lonely Tree” when they came to O Quy Ho pass. This is also listed as one of the “hottest” trees in the North.

When we get to Rong May Glass Bridge. We will visit and experience the highest glass bridge in Vietnam connecting Lai Chau and Lao Cai. Standing on the glass bridge, you can comfortably “work” extremely unique and strange photos. Lunch at a local restaurant. Drive back to Sapa. Hotel for check-in. Overnight in Sapa.

First start of 6km of walking down to the southeast of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa Valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black Hmong. Continue a 2km-trekking down to Lao Chai village, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people.

Lunch with a local family gives you a worthwhile chance to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily lifestyles and exclusive customs. Enjoy the landscapes…on the way. The last trek is about 2 km to the bus stop in Tavan then get back to Sapa by jeep or minivan…

09:00 AM: After breakfast, leaving the busy town behind, we begin the day with a three-kilometer trek through the breathtaking landscape to the village of Suoi Ho, home to the H’Mong minority.

From here you can enjoy views over endless rice terraces, and you will have the opportunity to see some of the animals used by the locals. We follow a trail running through the beautiful gardens and lush pine forests to the Black H’Mong ethnic minority village of Ma Tra.

This small village seems to be a hideaway from civilization though it’s only a few kilometers from Sapa town. Then, you will come across the impressive ruins of a church dating back to the French occupation in the early 1900s. Take a minute to explore this intriguing sight and take some photos. The expert tour guide will stop us at some houses to chat with local people as well as pupils at a primary school.

Noon: Having a picnic lunch at the village.

1:00 PM: Trekking to the village of Ta Phin you will be able to meet both Black Hmong and Red Dzao minorities. The Red Dzao are known for their expertise in herbal medicine as well as the use of plants from the land to treat many illnesses. Spending a lot of time contacting the Red Dzao people who live in the larger villages and are very good at handicrafts: Silver work for men and embroidery for women.

Your guide will be able to introduce you to some Red Dzao women who can tell you more about their many remedies. A Red Dzao herbal medicine bath can be arranged for you to experience, so please ask. Drive back to your hotel. Overnight in Sapa.

We will pick you up at your hotel to take the cable car to Fansipan. What’s impressive is that we can now conquer the top of Fansipan easily, have a seat tight in a cabin, and within only 30 minutes, you will reach the top of Indochina at 3,143m high.

Recently opened for tourists, the cable route has welcomed thousands of tourists coming to Sapa to make their dream of conquering the highest Indochina peak to be real.

In the past, Fansipan normally took climbers two days to cross the challenging route to reach the top Fansipan, but everyone can now touch what is also known as “Indochina’s Roof” within 15 minutes thanks to the cable car system.

Each cable car is capable of carrying 30 to 35 passengers, and the whole system can transport up to 2,000 tourists per hour. The system is resilient to extreme weather in the northern mountainous province everyone, including children and the elderly, can now explore Fansipan’s peak.

Measuring 6,282 meters, the Fansipan cable has been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s longest three-rope cable car route and the world’s biggest ascent between departure and arrival, measuring 1,410 meters.

Once you step your foot into the cable cabin, you will be eager to contemplate the 3000 meter – underneath magnificent landscape: endless clouds, terraced fields of the local ethnic group, Muong Hoa green valley hidden behind dangerous and sheer rocks of Hoang Lien Son mountain chain, etc. All those things would bring you a sensation of flying on new land, which is very special and exciting.

We continue to walk around town as the best way to get a feel for the culture of this H’Mong-dominated region. Visit the Notre Dame Cathedral and Sapa market, where you can find handmade trinkets, clothing, accessories, and a variety of food. An intricately embroidered bandana or bag donning the patterns and vibrant colors of the H’Mong, Yao, and Zay people would make perfect gifts for loved ones back home.

Free time for shopping and sightseeing until we get to the train station back to Ha Noi (Train number SP4 Lao Cai – Ha Noi 9:30 pm – 5:25 am +). Sleeping in a train.

At 5:25 am we arrived at Ha Noi train station. Our tour guide and driver pick you up and transfer you to Ha Noi Old Quarter. Free time for shopping and sightseeing until we move to Noi Bai airport (2-3 hours before the end of services.
